Back to Dissipated Youth (1) (The)
DISSIPATED YOUTH [1], THE (An Oganac Saobta). AKA and see "Beardless Boy (The)," "Giolla na Scriob," "Ta an Coileach ag Fogairt an Lae (2)," "When the cock crows it is day (3)," "Big Bow Wow," "Kate Kearney," "Kate Martin," "Seanbhean Chrion an Drantain." Irish, Air (6/8 time, "graceful"). G Major (O'Neill): F Major (Haverty). Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The tune originally appeared under this title in Edward Bunting's 1809 collection, although Bunting had previously published it in 1796 as "Beardless Boy (The)." O'Neill's setting is nearly the same.
