Longford, c. 1870. Researcher Conor Ward finds it cognate with "Bloom of Youth (The)" AKA "Dr. Taylor." Ward also finds a variant in another local version, "Highland Lament (The)," in the Larry Smyth MS c. 1900, of Abbeylara, Co. Longford.
