Source for notated version: a recording (“Céirniní 78") by fiddler Johnny Pickering, from Northern Ireland, on which it is listed as “Jackson’s Punch” [Black]. The tune was also recorded by English BBC collector Peter Kennedy in Armagh, 1952, from the playing of fiddler Johnny Pickering (1920-1964) of Moy, Co. Tyrone. Kennedy had the title as "Jackson's Rum Punch."
