WHITE BREASTED BOY, THE. Irish, Air (3/4 time). B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Stanford (1905) notes that two untitled tunes in Petrie’s collection, Nos. 72 and 140, are variants.

Source for notated version: “Mrs. Close” [Stanford/Petrie]. Mrs. Close was a friend of artist and collector George Petrie (1790-1866) and was originally from County Galway.
