PUSH ABOUT THE JUGG. Irish, Jig. E Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The jig is a member of the large "Bung Your Eye" tune family that includes "Brisk Young Lad's (The)," "Brisk Irish Lad," "Mary the Maid," "Off to the Hunt," "There came a young man" and many more. As with many large tune families, the relationships are most pronounced in the first strain and less so in the second strain of the mainly binary tune forms.
