MISS GORDON OF LESMORE('S STRATHSPEY). Scottish, Strathspey. F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. In John Glen's 2nd volume the tune was credited to Daniel McLaren, whose name is found in the lists of subscribers to Niel Gow's first several collections, where he is identified as a musician living in Edinburgh.
