DOON THE BURN DAVIE [2]. Shetland, Flugga Dance Tune (6/8 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAA'BB. One of a handful of tunes known to have accompanied the 'flugga' dance, a country dance of the Shetlands particular to the Delting district. It was danced as an after-piece to the Shetland reel, with a concurrent rhythm change. The melody is dissimilar to "Doon the Burn Davie (1)."
