WEST FORK GIRLS [2]. Old-Time, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A close variant of "West Fork Girls (1)," from the playing of Clay County, West Virginia fiddlers Doc White and Lee "Poppy" Triplett (Triplett Ridge, Clay, Clay County, W.Va.). Fiddler Wilson Douglas's (Clay County, W.Va.) version is similar.

Source for notated version:

Printed sources: Diller (Yew Pine Mountain: Obscure Underground Clawhammer Banjo From Mysterious Central West Virginia), 2007; p. 30 ([1]).

Recorded sources: Rounder 0024, "The Hollow Rock String Band" (1974)."
