Back to Jockey Has Gotten a Wife
JOCKEY HAS GOTTEN A WIFE. AKA – "Jockey has got him a wife." AKA and see "Buttered Pease (2)." Scottish, Country Dance Tune (9/8 time). The melody also appears in the London stage production Irish Fair (1772). See also the closely related "Swaggering Jig (1)" and the many alternate titles contained in that note.
