REEL ST. ANTOINE, LE. AKA “Reel Saint-Antoine.” French-Canadian, Reel. G Major (Begin): A Major (Songer). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB (Songer): AABB’CC’ (Begin/Girdwood): AA'BB'CC'A"A"'B"B"'C"C"' (Begin/Bruneau). "Reel St-Antoine" was recorded in 1938 by Quebec fiddler Jos (Joe) Bouchard [1] (1905-1979), in a three part, "crooked" or irregular version.
