DUILLATER HOUSE. AKA and see "Bonintown Well", "Brown's Reel (1)." Scottish, Reel. C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Dullater House, was in the village of Dullater (Dubh Leitir or 'Dark Hill Slope'), Glasgow, North Lanarkshire. It was later discovered to have been built on the top of an old Roman encampment. The melody had been published a century before, however, as "Bonintown Well" by Robert Bremner, and later in the 18th century by Alexander McGlashan as "Brown's Reel."
