HELL AMONG THE YEARLINGS [3]. Old-Time, Breakdown. USA Arkansas. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'B. Similar versions of this tune (which is unrelated to other "Hell Among the Yearlings" pieces) are played by some Arkansas fiddlers, such as Skeeter Walden, note Beisswenger & McCann (2008). The authors find it similar to the 'A' part of "Fat Meat and Dumplings" and the 'B' part of "Sally Goodin."

Source for notated version: Seth Mize (1901-1977, Searcy County, Arkansas) [Beisswenger & McCann].

Printed sources: Beisswenger & McCann (Ozarks Fiddle Music), 2008; p. 93.

Recorded sources:

Hear Seth Mize (1901-1977) [1].
