Tune properties and standard notation
ELLIOT'S FAVORITE REEL. Canadian, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune is labelled "Traditional" in Messer's Anthology. The first strain is reminiscent of the Irish reel "Over the Moor to Maggie."
