FAIR OF DUNMORE, THE. AKA and see "Juice of the Barley." Irish, Air (6/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). One part. The horse-buying fair at Dunmore, New Year's Day, 1900, is the setting for writer Douglas Hyde's story "O'Casey Amongst the Fairies."
