Tune properties and standard notation
FAIR [2], THE. American, Jig. USA, southwestern Pa. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Similarities to "Green Cockade (The)" and "Four Hundred Years Old," also collected by Bayard from Pennsylvania musicians. The author notes relationship between the three tunes, and with the Scottish tunes "Kenmuir's Up and Awa'" and "Up and Waur Them A' Willlie."
