Cincinnati Rag [3]. American, Country Rag. C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABCD. Recorded in 1930 on 78 RPM by Virginia guitarist Byrd Moore (1889-1949) and fiddler Clarence Greene in Richmond, Indiana, for Champion Records, a subsidiary label of Gennett Records. It was not a hit, and sold only seventy-six copies in the first year and a half after its release, earning the musicians only a couple of dollars in royalties.
