Tune properties and standard notation
FATHER QUINN (An t-Atair Ua Cuinn). AKA and see "Whenever I See Those Smiling Eyes," "Breath Not Again That Dreadful Word." Irish, Slow Air (4/4 time). G Major/Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. "Whene'er I see those smiling eyes" is the name of a Thomas Moore song set to the tune.
Source for notated version: J. O'Neill [O'Neill]. Chicago Police Sergeant James O'Neill was a fiddler originally from County Down. He worked as transcriber and collaborator on Francis O'Neill's early volumes.
