FIRE ON THE MOUNTAIN [7]. Old-Time, Breakdown. USA, Kentucky. A Mixolydian. AEae tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. The tune is unique to the repertoire of Magoffin County, Ky., fiddler John Salyer, who recorded it on a home recording in December, 1941. It is not related to other "Fire on the Mountain Tunes."
