FINNEA LASSES. AKA and see "Killarney Wonder Schottische (1)." Irish, Schottische or Highland Fling. A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. The melody was recorded by Donegal fiddler Hughie Gillespie in New York in the 78 RPM era (paired with "Gurren's Castle,"-there is some confusion of tunes and titles, but "Finnea Lasses" is a version of the "Killarney Wonder", while the Highland "Gurren's" is a version of "Miss Sarah Drummond of Perth").

Printed sources: Carlin (Master Collection), 1984; No. 222, p. 130.

Recorded sources: Topic Records 12T364, Hugh Gillespie - "Classic Recordings of Irish Traditional Fiddle Music" (1978)
