Tune properties and standard notation
FROM THEE ELIZA I MUST GO. Irish, Slow Air (4/4 time). D Dorian/A Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. "The Munster people--as I have stated elsewhere in this book--sang several of Burns' songs to native Irish airs. The song 'From Thee Eliza I Must Go' I have often heard sung when a boy, always with the following Irish air. Compare with 'Una' in my Ancient Irish Music" (Joyce).
