AKA and see “Anderson’s (Reel) [2],” “Lark in the Morning,” "Miss Lane's Fancy,” “My Love is on the Ocean (1),” "New Mown Meadows (The)," “Old Silver Spear,” "Silver Tip (1) (The)," "Sliabh Bana," "Top of the Cliff (The)." “White Mountain (2) (The).” Irish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A popular session tune, more so at one time, but part of the core session repertoire. Brendan Breathnach’s translation of the title into Irish suggests the title refers to a mountain. “New Mown Meadows” is a related melody. Piper Willie Clancy played the tune under the title “White Mountain.”
