JACKSON'S BREAKDOWN. AKA and see "Richmond Cotillion," "Plaza Polka," "Sally There's a Bug On Me," "Sally Put a Bug on Me," "Old Richmond," "Hanging Around the Kitchen (Till the Cook Comes Home)," "Wait in the Kitchen (Till the Cook Comes In)," "Run Them Coons in the Ground." American, Schottische or Polka (2/4 time). D Major ('A' part) & A Major ('B' part). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. A polka or schottische-type tune in a quadrille setting (in the American sense of the term, meaning that each strain is in a different key). The tune was recorded by the group The Mid-Westerners on a Victor 78 RPM called "Square Dances Without Calls", meant to be played for square dancing where there was a caller but no band. The Mid-Westerners broadcast on the WLS Barn Dance in Chicago.
