REEL DU VÉTÉRINAIRE. French-Canadian, Reel (2/4 or cut time). F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB (Cranford/Holland—includes ‘B’ variation measures): AA'BB' (Cuillerier/Allard). Recorded under this title by Montreal, Québec, fiddler Joseph Allard (1873-1947) in 1937 on 78 RPM. Allard researcher Jean Duval notes that the reel is of unknown origin and may be an original Allard composition[1].
