The Kessinger Brothers

BOARDING HOUSE BELLS ARE RINGING WALTZ. American, Waltz (3/4 time). C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. "Boarding House Bells are Ringing" is the name of a song recorded by the Carolina Twins (Gwen Foster & David Fletcher) in 1928 (Victor 21575). It is a "clean" version of the very bawdy song "Whorehose Bells were Ringing", although Waltz and Engle believe the "Boarding House" version was an intermediate version between the ballad "The Fatal Wedding" and the "Whorehouse" song [1].
