GLENCOLMCILLE (Gleann Cholm Cille). AKA and see "Fantastic Reel (The)." Irish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB'. Influential Donegal fiddler John Doherty recorded the melody as "Fantastic Reel (The)," and as a result it is occasionally called "John Doherty's."

Source for notated version: fiddlers Paddy Reynolds & Andy McGann (New York) [Breathnach]; flute player Pat Meehan (b. 1960, south County Sligo) [Flaherty].
