Christie indicated the tune was "Old", and said that it was "communicated" to him by "Mr. Jaffrey Senior."  Jaffrey gave several old Aberdeenshire dance tunes to Christie, as identified in the collection, including "[[Punch is Done (The)]]", another jig in Christie's collection.
