BREKKAN AT BRANTON. AKA and see "Green Bracken," "Green Brechans o' Branton (The)." English, Jig. England, Northumberland, north Yorkshire. B Phyrgian/minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune has been played with both one and two sharps (i.e. phrygian or minor mode). Vickers had one sharp in his manuscript, although he was not always accurate in his key signatures.
