GREETINGS TO THE BEATONS OF MABOU. AKA and see "Drummer (The)," "MacLaine of Loch Buie's Reel," "Old King's Reel." The Beatons, of Mabou, Nova Scotia, are a Cape Breton family with a strong fiddling tradition. "Greetings to the Beatons of Mabou" is a set of tunes with that title, consisting of "Old King's Reel," "MacLaine of Loch Buie," and "The Drummer."
