Nenagh is a large town in north County Tiperary, whose name in Irish means 'The Fair of Ormond', a reference to the Ormond (East Munster) Fair that was held there. In the 19th century in was a market center that supported a variety of industries, including dressmaking, tailoring, woodworking, turning, etc. Accordion player Paddy O'Brien was born in Nenagh, County Tipperary.
