According to the audio document dating from the end of the 1940s, this piece is presented as being the 6th part of a quadrille: ''La bistringue''. Note that on the original recording, the group plays the 1st and 2nd part in the same key. Here, the version we present to you is inspired by the arrangements of Philippe Bruneau, Dorothée Hogan and the traditional Quebec music group: Eritage. *Important detail: Like the Éritage group, in our version the parts are reversed. Normally, the first part is in D and the 2nd is G. We voluntarily chose to start on the 2nd part in G to finish on the first in D.*</span></pre>
