QUADRILLE À MA TANTE. French-Canadian, Quadrille (3/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABB'. Sometimes played with parts reversed. Soucy researcher Jean Duval believes the title refers to one of Soucy's aunts, Rosanna, who lived with the family on their farm when Isidore was young. Soucy's mother died when he was less than ten years old, and Rosanna took over motherly duties with him.
