Irish, Double Jig. D Major (Cole, Howe): D Major/Mixolydian (Joyce): D Mixolydian (Breathnach). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB (Cole, Howe, Joyce): AABBCC (Breathnach). In modern times the tune is known as "Banish Misfortune."
