CAILLEACH DO MHARBHUIDHIS ME. Irish, Jig (6/8 time). D Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Goodman researchers Hugh and Lisa Shields suggest comparison with O'Neill's "Stolen Purse (1) (The)", but the resemblance is obscure, as is the other suggested comparison with "A dtiocfaidh tú a bhaile liom?" ("Will You Come Home with Me? (2)) in Stanford/Petrie Complete Collection (1907, No. 1487, p. 372). It is possible all these tunes may have developed into different branches from a distant ancestor.
