MR. ALEXANDER MUNRO. Scottish, Strathspey. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Composed by Alexander Walker in honor of one Alexander Munro of Braemar. According to the Edinburgh Gazette of Sept. 30, 1898, Munro's estates were to be sequestered in a judgement against him. Apparently he had run into financial distress later in life. He is described in the item as a 'cycle agent'.
