INIMITABLE REEL. AKA and see "Bunch of Chickens (A)," "Everybody's Fancy." American, New England; Reel. USA; Nebraska, New Hampshire. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The piece is widely disseminated due to its appearance in Ryan's Mammoth Collection/Cole's 1000 Fiddle Tunes, the standard source for fiddlers who read music in the mid-20th century in America. The melody is similar to the first two strains of "Kitty Sharp's Championship Jig."
Source for notated version: E. Christie [Cole's]; Bob Walters (Burt County, Nebraska) [Christeson].
