Tune properties and standard notation

JACKSON'S FANCY (Roga Mic Seoin). Irish (originally), New England; Double Jig. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Not "Jackson's Favourite" in McDermott's Allan's Irish Fiddler. The 'B' part of this tune is the fourth part of "Jackson's Morning Brush." The 'A' part is shared with "Stepney's Rant," printed in O'Farrell's Pocket Companion for the Union or Irish Pipes, c. 1806, vol. II, p. 86. See also a related untitled jig in Breathnach's Ceol Rince na hÉireann, vol. V, No. 3, from the playing of Jim Mulqueeny.
