Tune properties and standard notation
JOE DERRANE'S JIG (Port Sheosaimh Uí Dhearáin). AKA and see "Bit of Ginger," "Fisherman (The)," "Fisherman's Lilt (2)," "Lilting Fisherman," "Lissalumna Fiddler," "Paddy's Resource (2)." Irish, Double Jig. G Major ('A' part) & D Major ('B' part). Standard. AABB'. Alternate titles come from the Leitrim Ceili Band ("Lissalumna Fiddler"), Liverpool Ceili Band ("Fisherman (The)"), The tune was attributed by Derrane and O'Brien to New York fiddler Paddy Killoran, originally from County Sligo.
