Tune properties and standard notation
JOSEPH MACDONALD'S JIG. Scottish, Jig. A Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCCDD. This traditional bagpipe jig is named for a 18th century music compiler. The second two parts in the Battlefield Band book were composed by the band's piper at the time, Duncan MacGillivray.
