Back to Ashmolean House
ASHMOLEAN HOUSE (Teach Ashmolean). AKA - "Ash Maley House," "Ashmolean (The)." Irish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning. AABB. Breathnach (1996) attributes the composition to Belfast and Derrylin, County Fermanagh, fiddler and singer Tommy Gunn. The Ashmolean is the university museum of Oxford, University, England. A cousin to the tune "Mullingar Races."
