KANTSCHUKOFF REEL. American (?), Reel. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The music perhaps may be associated with the comic character General Kantschukoff in Franz von Suppé's opera Fatinitza, published in Vienna in 1876 (and in Boston by White, Smith & Co., and by Oliver Ditson in 1879).
