KATHLEEN MacMASTER. AKA and see "Kathleen's Favourite Jig (2)," "Kathleen's Jig." Canadian, Jig. Canada, Cape Breton. F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by Dan Hughie MacEachern for the daughter of fiddler Johnny Airchie MacDonald, of Cape Breton and Detroit. In the 1960's pianist Kathleen (MacMaster) Beaton (then living in Halifax, Nova Scotia) accompanied her father on the first of his three LP's for Rodeo records (RLP 75).
