BONINTOWN WELL. AKA and see "Brown's Reel [1]." Scottish, Reel. C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. John Glen finds the earliest printing of the tune in Robert Bremner's 1757 collection. The reel is printed by the Gows as "Brown's Reel." Bonintown Well (or Bonnington Well) is also known as St. Cuthebert's Well.
