Tune properties and standard notation
FIDDLE HEAD REEL. New England, Reel. USA. D Major (Brody): G Major (Sweet). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by Canadian fiddler Jim Magill (1905-1954), who was born either in Northern Ireland (in 1902) or Montreal (1905). He was a contemporary of fiddler Don Messer, and was centered in Toronto, where he often played on radio with his group The Northern Ramblers.
