LABRADOR. French-Canadian, Reel. C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. The melody is similar to "Traveler's Reel."

Source for notated version: transplanted French-Canadian fiddler Omer Marcoux (Concord, N.H.) who learned the tune as a young adolescent when a man from Labrador (hence the name) stayed with the family for a few weeks and played at night with them [Miskoe & Paul].

Printed sources: Miskoe & Paul (Fiddle Tunes of Omer Marcoux), 1994; p. 29.
