LADY CHARLOTTE BRUCE. Scottish, Strathspey. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Composed by William Shepherd (d. 1812), a musician and partner of Nathaniel Gow's (1763-1831) in their Edinburgh music-publishing business formed in the last years of the 18th century, who also published collections independently.
