Source for notated version: Hugh Farr [Phillips]. Texas-born fiddler Hugh Farr (1903-1980) along with his musical family moved to California when a young man. He and his brothers found careers playing music as a brothers-group, and as members of the Sons of the Pioneers in the 1930's and 1940's.
