LAME DERMOT (Diarmuid Bacach). Irish, Air (2/4 time). A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Obtained from collector P.W. Joyce (1827-1914) from the collection of a contemporary, John Edward Pigot (1822-1871), who assembled some 2,000 airs.
Source for notated version: "...copied from a MS. collection lent to Mr. Pigot by James Hardiman, the historina of Galway and editor of Hardiman's Irish Minstrels" (Joyce).
