LIGHT HORSE REEL. English, Reel. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The melody appears unique to source William Litten.

Source for notated version: the 1800-1802 music manuscript of Wiliam Litten, a ship's fiddler for the British East India fleet's voyage to the Far East during those years. The manuscript came into the possession of Allen Coffin, a seafarer from Martha's Vineyard, who brought it home with him when he returned to the island in the early 19th century.
