LOCHIEL'S WELCOME (TO GLASGOW). Scottish, Jig or March (6/8 time). A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The composition is credited to Alexander Cameron in Martin's Ceol na Fidhle (1991), although the first strain is identical to Pipe Major G.S. McLennan's "Braemar Gathering (The)." The composer may be Pipe Major Alexander Cameron (1848-1923).
