FOX HUNTER'S JIG (THE). Scottish, Jig. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. There are many tunes with the title "Fox Hunter", or a variant name, but this melody appears to be unique to Glasgow publisher James Aird's Selection, vol. 3 (1788).
